1. Can I see a demo of the Navigator?

Yes! We’ve created a 13 minute demo video that discusses how the Navigator can help modernize HR policies and practices, develop  recruiting partnerships, and enable employers to build customized strategies to expand their candidate pools. This session illustrates how employers, workforce organizations, and business associations can utilize the Navigator to meet their talent and workforce goals.

2. I’m not an employer, can I still access the Navigator?

The Navigator is designed to support employers to build and implement Fair Chance talent strategies, however we are collaborating with business associations, workforce organizations, and leaders in Fair Chance employment to deploy and train on the Navigator.​ If you’d like to explore a partnership, send us a message via our contact form or at navigator@envoy.us.

3. What partnership pathways are available for the Navigator?

We are currently building collaborations centered on dissemination and training to help deploy the Navigator in the employer community and ensure employer-facing teams can help train and onboard companies to the platform. Please reach out to navigator@envoy.us if you’d like to discuss further!

4. How did Envoy develop its guidance for the Navigator?

The guidance included in the Navigator is drawn from the Envoy team’s decade of experience working with companies to build and implementFair Chance practices. While every company starts from a different place, the Navigator offers strategies and tactics that have demonstrated success in expanding talent pools and growing opportunities for jobseekers impacted by the justice system.

5. How long do I get access to Navigator once my subscription starts?

The Navigator subscription is for 365 days from the date of purchase, with the option to renew at the end of the year.

6. Does the Navigator support multiple users or teams?

This version of the Navigator does not currently support multiple users on one Navigator account. Team accounts are a planned feature of our 2.0 version of the Navigator, projected to launch in 2026.

7. Do I need to download anything to access the Navigator?

The Navigator is a web-based program, no software download required. After logging into our site via an internet browser, access the Navigator program in the upper right hand menu drop down.

8. Does the Navigator include a getting started guide?

Yes! The Navigator includes an introductory module with background information about Fair Chance, an overview of the program and features, and a glossary of key terms to help you through.

9. How long should it take to go through the Navigator to complete the activities?

The Navigator is designed to be self-paced, so in short, it depends! The guidance itself could be read through relatively quickly, but the length of time to complete the activities and implement the desired next steps will vary depending on your organization's pace of implementation.

10. Will the Navigator content continue to be updated?

Yes! The Envoy team will make updates periodically in light of emerging research, our learnings from the field, and user feedback.

11. How can I share questions or feedback about the Navigator?
