Philadelphia, PA

Envoy partnered with Philadelphia Works (the Workforce Development Board for Philadelphia), the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, the National Reentry Workforce Collaborative and JPMorgan Chase to design a Fair Chance ecosystem in the region, engaging employers and community-based organizations to drive greater opportunity, employment, and mobility for the 400,000 Philadelphians with a past record.

Envoy launched its first Philadelphia Fair Chance Implementation Series in 2024, bringing together seven Philadelphia area employers collectively representing over 40,000 jobs in the region. These employers will help create examples across multiple industries of how to build, implement, and grow a Fair Chance talent strategy.

Envoy partnered with the Ohio Manufacturers' Association as part of the U.S. Economic Development Administration’s Good Jobs Challenge to help build Fair Chance talent strategies across the manufacturing sector in Ohio to attract and retain justice-impacted talent. As part of our engagement, Envoy created tools, resources, and training for the over 1,500 OMA members on the mechanics of designing and implementing Fair Chance practices.

OMA currently has a library of tools and templates to support Fair Chance employment for Ohio manufacturers, along with a map of reentry and workforce organizations that partner with companies statewide. Envoy’s Implementation webinars reached over 300 manufacturers and 16 Industry Sector Partnerships (ISPs) and an additional seven companies participated in Envoy’s Fair Chance Implementation Series, to go deeper and learn from their peers.
